Just curious, what are caps like that going for these days ballpark? I also have a 16 crew short bed.

The cap is 2135$. 85$ for install and 109$ for dual rope light with prop switch. Then I got them to throw in keyless entry (199$). And tilt down front slider (90$). So with tax I paid just a little less than 2500$. A lot of money, but I really will like having it.

Wow, didn't realize caps ran that much. Makes my $1500 ARE tonneau with all the options seem cheap by comparison.

i picked up brand new denali style 22" OEM rims with bridgestones....makes the truck look really nice!! rides a bit more stiffer and you definitely feel more bumps!

also added the new GM accs grill!! all together the truck really looks streamline now with chrome accents and grey iridium scheme!

next is a nice detail.....

Getting the underside of the hood painted next week or the following. Then I'll tackle the job of installing two new fiberwerx front fenders!

Installed a Lund Bed Extender. Not something I was planning on getting but for $50 at Princes Auto (Canadian version of Harbour Freight) it was tough to turn down. I just had to add some washers and longer bolts to shim out the bed mounts so it would clear my Truxedo Lo Pro tonneau cover.

They also had the Bedstep 2 for $75 but I really don't need a step on the side, I can reach right in the bed.

Dayam that was a score, they don't even list a bedxtender for anything other than a RAM on their site. It would almost be worth it to buy one from Ottawa and ship it to Vancouver haha

Yup but first I need to get the hood properly fitted. Then I can install the new fiberwerx 3" bulge fenders and my gaps will be correct and so on. The scary part is cutting up the current fenders to remove them.

They had some sidewalk sale going on at the one in Ottawa this week. They had side steps and extenders for GM, Ford, Dodge and Toyota. They had quite a bit marked down, from ATV snowplows, wrenches, gloves and just bins of random stuff. Every time a skid of an item sold out they wheeled something else out.

I like the idea of using a canopy....lately I've been washing my truck and my wife's Tahoe at night because of the Texas heat.

Thanks. I had to add some blocks to make it over the cab. I work in the heat so once I'm inside for the evening I stay there. So I hit it at 8am today.
