I was going to also mention the rear lift blocks. Never been a fan of lift blocks unless it's only about a 2" lift. 4" or bigger I'd rather spend the extra money for add-a-leafs or all new leaf springs with the lift built into it.

Planning on all new leafs when I get the Mcgaughy. Trying to save up for it all. Will have new rims as well (same but 20x10 instead)

Aren't the new bigger leafs only if you want to be able to load more in the bed of the truck.

The bigger leafs I'm talking about isn't for stiffness, it's the ones made with a lift built into it. If you go to a site like BDS you have the option of just lift blocks for the rear or actual replacement leaf springs with the lift built into it.

They have a higher arch that's all, supposed to keep the factory ride. I would say they would be a bit stiffer considering they have more leafs in them

I've got the BDS springs and they are worth the $350. Rides a tad stiffer in the rear but when towing there is less drop than even stock springs. Very good springs and worth every penny

Saw these as a suggested item while looking at other stuff on amazon, thinking about getting them considering Ive torn up my driver side sill, its all scratched up and what not. Figure this would be a band aid/ fix.

Or I could always go with the clear bra roll and cut it to my desired width and heighth, hmmmm

I'd buff and polish the area then clear bra it.

I didn't do this today but a couple days ago. So I got my truck tuned by Black Bear and I gotta say...I think I made a huge mistake. I waited way too long because I should've gotten this tune when I first bought the truck. It's night and day! The 6.2 feels like a completely different beast after some tuning. There's virtually no throttle lag anymore, it just "goes" when you step on it. I absolutely love it.

My tune is optimized for a set of long tube headers and exhaust that haven't been installed yet. However, a shop should be getting it done very soon. I was told once my headers and new exhaust are installed the tune will be running much more efficiently. Safe to say I feel like a bit of kid again so I figured I'd share with my GM truck buddies.

Ive got a wear spot in the paint on that step down in that area and I think its from the seal. These look rough, worried about them eating at the door seal?

I want a tune for driveability but can't justify the $600. I just don't have it.

I paid 320 for a slightly used diablosport i2 tuner in the for sale section, keep an eye out for them

Or you can get a used Autocal for $150. Then for $300 you can get a new license and tune from blackbear.

I believe Black Bear offers a "rented" autocal option as well. Where you pay a deposit, tune your truck, return the auto cal and receive your deposit.
