Few questions how you liking the lift with the fox shocks? (How's the ride )Was just looking at that lift but was debating. Would go with it again if you were to do it over? Looks great

Also what does it measure out to? Wheel well heights front and rear and roof height? Sorry for all the question

Thanks, and honestly I would go with this exact same kit if I had to do it again. It's true what everyone says about BDS. Their quality is excellent. The ride is outstanding and the fox shocks just make it exceptionally good on and off road.

lol I just saw this question, umm I have no clue on measurements. I do know that it fits in parking structures, drive throughs, and garages. I'm on my way to Vegas for SEMA right now so I'll have to measure when I get back

If you go with the coilovers it honestly rides better than stock. With BDS there is no sacrifice on quality or ride like there is on cheap kits such as rough country, Rancho, etc.

Thanks, and honestly I would go with this exact same kit if I had to do it again. It's true what everyone says about BDS. Their quality is excellent. The ride is outstanding and the fox shocks just make it exceptionally good on and off road.

Another element often overlooked is the fitment and ease of install. These higher end kits may require a more involved installation but are often easier to install than cheap kits. Reason being the engineering in these high end kits is great and the parts line up and fit correctly.

Scheduled my Line-X for next Tuesday. Now I need to get my old plastic liner out and my cargo tie downs installed.

No need to your cargo tie downs in. They'll remove them before spraying the bed.

When you say "this thing is LOUD"... do you mean from under the hood or it makes your exhaust louder?

 

 

I should have taken a before video, but if you have a stock truck you know how quiet they are.

 

Mines stock with only the Banks intake

Sounds like my Volant intake, but mine cuts out at certain rpm bands, and it's quiet at cruising rpm's as well. Give you the exhaust sound without an exhaust. I've always been curious what it sounds like on the outside if you even hear it like you so in the cab

I was thinking about having them linex-d in. As opposed to having to cut the line-x to install them afterwards.

I've been told by a few that it can be heard from the outside very well. I'll pull the GoPro out and do a video soon.

I'd install those afterwards since they clamp on. That way the area will be fully covered and you want have to worry about cutting line x with a razor blade (always looks like shit). But at the same time I don't have the tie downs in front of me. Always good to ask the shop thier thoughts too.

So true, quality goes way beyond just looks. My shop actually charges more to install rough country vs BDS because the BDS kit is way easier to install and align. All of these details are very often overlooked but you really do get what you pay for including the warranty

How AI can be and is used to maximize refinery or even Amazon operations all of which are true but because she is who she is; that makes what she says about what is true, false? Is that something akin to Pre-justice aka prejudice?    Look, I'm first in line to approach all information with caution just because we live in a world where people like to lie about someone or something with such a straight face and in such volume that it makes digging to the truth wearisome. Meaning I understand the skepticisms but if I were to toss out everything a person is for a view they hold then my pool of people to draw wisdom from would be non-existent and I'd be forced to reinvent the wheel daily. Not practical.    "Be innocent as a dove but as cautious as a serpent."    Test each word. Every good lie is part truth or no one would believe it. Find the truth in it and reject what isn't.    On this one, AI is being used to do what has been done by hand for hundreds of years already but at such speed, the point of a computer, that it is more easily monetized. This one wasn't that hard a lift.    I wrote a few formulas in a Lotus 123 program decades ago, a series of linked Macros actually, that allowed a daily inventory to be turned into a running P&L and production plan. Something that took three departments a week to assemble now took the time it takes to input the 'daily changes' in inventory. Later that was ungraded to the more powerful Excel program an and integrated with bar code scanning, inventory to supply was done once per shift. It had a huge impact on production scheduling, Seamless interruption flexibility, inventory error reduction, raw materials cost effective utilization and scrap reduction. Huge improvement in the bottom line. I spent months on that and AI could have done it in minutes. So yes, it not only can be used, they would be foolish to not try. The legality, ethics and morality are not the domain of AI. Humans need to keep a reign on it.

      New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
