post the model of your powered sub, was thinking of getting one, alot nicer splicing into the signal with bose

Installed a new subwoofer and layered some dynamat on the back wall and rear floor. Didn't want to go too crazy and take the front seats and console out so I was only able to mat the exposed areas you see in the picture, and the bottom section of the back wall. Didn't take too many pictures of the process I'm pretty bad with remembering to stop and document.

The dynamat definitely made a difference, especially on the highway. Road noise is reduced slightly, but the most noticeable is the exhaust volume. I'd say it took the volume difference between the Corsa and stock down by more than half, possibly even three quarters. I didn't measure the decibels so I can't be scientific, but to my ears it's much more comfortable. I did 1 layer of the dynamat extreme, overlapping and doubling up in some locations, and a triple layer under where the subwoofer sits.

Subwoofer sounds great with just a quick adjustment, will tune it further when I have some free time and the weather is nicer. It's a powered enclosure with high level inputs so all I had to do was run a power cable along the doorsill and splice the signal from the factory bose amp output to the factory console subwoofer. Fits almost perfectly in the space shown. Should be interesting the next time I have a female passenger in the middle seat, as all the energy is directed straight up through the cushion.

Added some led's to the truck bed. Attached some velcro to the back of the lights so they just stick to the carpet on the bottom side of the hard tonneau cover

Was your grill chrome and you had it color matched or did it come like that? I like it, been thinking of color matching mine and leaving the honeycomb chrome though. Truck looks badass though...

Put the black handles on and slowly getting rid of some of the chrome. De-badged as well. 7709c9482292ed4da637d6b21b57b308.jpg

$260 from gmpartsclub.com

Sold my chrome take offs for $200 on eBay so it wasn't too bad. Much better option than plsstidip or vinyl wrapping!

That's not bad at all with the sale of the take offs. The last 3 trucks I have had have been blacked out, so this one is going to keep the chrome, just has a bit too much from the factory. I think I will do that handles for sure, not sure about the mirror caps and trim yet though. It is nice so see another Siren red one getting done though, not many out there. Seems like everyone one you see is black, or a litter shade of black. Lol

Airdam removed. Chrome piece needs to be wrapped black.....probably this weekend.
