Tell that to the $100 ticket I got for having my offroad lights uncovered...not in use, just uncovered.

And a friend got tagged for not having his fogs on with low beams. That was $87.50...

And still another friend got his inspection rejected for not having lights on with the highs and for having tires past the fender well (by a 1/4" mind you).

Don't tell me, or preach to everyone on here, that it won't happen...

Can be very location specific. Here in Florida the whole state is pretty good except for Tallahassee. It is the capital and they have an over abundance of traffic cops apparently under orders to ticket anything they can. Window tint tickets, crooked licence plate tickets, but don't worry, you can still buy all the crack you want.

Did the paint to match swap a few weeks ago and dual fog light mod. I still need to adjust the fog lights a little. Also added midnight edition headlights and just installed my 305/55/20 falken wild peak at/3 tires. 6dba189da7439f699d4d130305218c7c.jpg6afe4062ab9e0694a94c7de32d260339.jpgcd5a9e691545adb866b4d4cfd27c0a68.jpg6fe518b5d476b2d073fb625748a720a1.jpg

What fog light pods/mount did you use? I like the look of them; I have something similar but they are the smaller Rigid lights/mount. I didn't think the ones you have would fit in the housing.

Just a set off eBay. No name brand. Just a 3in cube. Didn't use a rigid mount or anything. Just drilled a hole in the plastic bucket and ran the bolt thru to mount.

I guess I was lucky this last winter when I visited a buddy in Erie, PA. Driving on those back hilly snow coverd roads with huge ditches required all the light I could throw at it, until the lake effect snow came in. In the metro Detroit area people drive with their lights on, last night a ford with pods by the a pillar, led factory fog location, and some steer horns on the hood ... it wasnt blinding because he had everything pointed down.

How much for the headlights? I want to upgrade to a projector headlight but OEM is pretty expensive.

It was a set of eBay, don't waste your money. Save up and get OEM I made that mistake. These things are not that great. I have them adjusted as high as they go and can barely see on the road the beam does not go high enough. Luckily I run my fogs on back roads for the time being till I hit The city, turn them off and it's OK but I'm back roads or anything like that they are junk. Wish I didn't buy them and waste the money on painting the trim. I am now saving up for OEM midnight edition headlights or if I can come across a set for sale I will snag them ASAP

did the foglamp mod.... then took it out.... reason being.. when i auto started the truck.. they turned on... ..i cant turn them off now.. which i normally dont drive during the day with the day... .. but it was super easy and took like 2 seconds.

also did the reverse light mod.. i noticed.. that when in reverse they didnt come on.. but when i turned on the bed lights when truck was off.. the reverse lights came on.... .. i thought the bedlights would come on .. when i was in reverse... no biggie.

For the reverse lights, I used a piece of wire, not a diode so they come on in reverse, or when I turn the cargo light on.

Make sure you got the correct pin, sounds like you hit the the DRL instead of lowbeam.

Diode was reversed.
