What have you done to your K2 today?

Anyone know what colour wire the dome lights might be? I'm hoping to tap into it so I can add some lighting for when I open the doors. This is the best I could find, and I'm still a little confused.

People are tapping into different spot same wire. For me (bigger guy) was easier to tap into it on the driver side pillar. If you pop it out there's a bunch of wires. There's 2 solid greys, one is thicker and that's the one you need.

I use some cheap waterproof lights from Amazon. I think I paid $8 for 4 and 2 of them have been good for over a year. I had replace the 2 on the driver side. The only thing about those led lights is the wires are so think you need to be careful not to break them.

Thanks. It's a Sierra 1500 All Terrain.

 

Which pods do you mean? The hood ones are mounted to a T-Rex bracket. The fog ones are mounted to a Rigid Industries bracket.

Is the grey wire positive or negative? And that's for the dome lighting right? I just want to make sure, I don't want to have to do it twice. I'm gonna add footwell lights, as well as door lights. Footwell lights just like the ones from the very first post.

I got my new Tonnopro Lo Roll tonneau cover installed. I'll post some pics when I get some better light. Also have a bedrug coming tomorrow. Cannot wait to get that in my bed. So looking forward to camping out of the back of my truck.

Well thanks to that fun storm that came thru last night I lost my headlights. Everything else is functional except for lows and highs. Looks like its time to go buy another hid kit.

Ditched the 305/55 idea and went with 305/50. That's a one inch difference and it makes a big difference. I'm going to finish it up tomorrow, but here's what she's looking like right now. 20x12's on 305/50r20 Toyo AT2's 2.5" Level.
