What did MVI charge you for that? The lack of pricing on the net leads me to believe the price may be different for everyone. Does MVI programming trigger the camera to come on automatically when the front crash indicators are triggered? Or is this a simple video in where you have to switch the source manually if you want to see what's in front? If that's the case, then it is Strange that the video turns off at any speed.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I have mine HMI unlocked so the video will not switch at any speed. The only time the video switch is when you put in reverse.

The service driver assist warning came on.

Pulled driver seat, removed seat cover, found broken wires to left side motor. Replaced wires (on both motors) with heavier gauge and put in in plastic wire loom to protect.

All in all about a 30 minute job and I know its repaired correctly since I did it.

Works like a charm now.

Same thing happened to mine. Dealer replaced both wire harnesses or whatever is down there. Figure it was covered under my bumper to bumper might as well have the dealer take care of it

Just out of curiosity, what led you to pulling the seat apart? Very good guesser?

I could move the seat back and forth and it would work intermittently.

90% of the problems with the driver alert system is the motor wiring harness.

It was a good guess, but the seat comes out and apart in 5-10 minutes and the cover comes up on the sides enough to get the motors out, so no loss if I was wrong.

If it's the left side motor, you can do it with the seat in place if you are careful.

What made you choose the 305-50-20 over the 305-55-20? I am assuming in your case bc of the wide wheels and negative offset to reduce rubbing.

I am looking at the 305-50-20 toyo or the 305-55-20XL Nitto Terra Grappler G2, but i only have 20x9 0 offset wheels.

That's exactly it. I wanted to run 305/55 but it was just too large and I would nearly hit the outside of the fender. The 305/50 is still large but provides enough clearance. They are both XL loads, and IMHO Toyo's look better than Nitto's, but if I wasn't running such wide wheels I would easily choose the 305/55 Nitto's just because they are taller and will most likely ride better, as well as fill the fender up nicely.

Thanks for the input! Yeah I think the Toyos look better as well which was my dilemma. I sure wish Toyo made a 305-55-20XL like they do for nitto. I think I will wind up going with the 305-55-20XL Nittos but the 305-50-20's come in as a close second. I wonder if putting the 305-50-20 Toyos on a 9" wide rim (what I am going to run) might stand them up a little bit and get a little more height out of them? I have 20x9 0 offset wheels going on with a leveling kit and concerned I might rub some with the 305-55's. Trying to avoid trimming.

Not a problem brother, I was facing the same issue for a very long time but I pretty much got these 12's for free so I figured I'd try the 305/50 series tire & I love it. It may give off the illusion of looking taller just because your tires will stick out further than the wheels, which is a good look IMO. I saw some Nitto's in person (which is what will really make you decide) and they looked pretty good. Not bad, just not as "aggresive' as the toyo's.

Haha, yeah I got my LRG wheels for next to nothing as well. I have 275-60-20 Toyo OC AT2's on the stock sierra wheels right now (a little too skinny for my liking) they actually measure 32" tall on the truck itself but definitely like the look more than the Nittos. I have 20x9 0 offset wheels going on (2" leveling kit currently) and concerned I might rub some with the 305-55's. Do you think I will clear without trimming with the 55's? Decisions Decisions!

A lot of guys run 295/55 because some say it rubs with 305's. I think it'll rub slightly, maybe on the liner only, but I can't say because I never ran anything other than stock size on my stock wheels. If you asked me to do it all again, I'd run 305/55 on stock no issue simply because I'm sure it doesn't compare to the amount I had to trim to make the x12's fit. If you are concerned you can always consider running spacers and that should clear the sway bar (because you can't trim that lol)

For sure, appreciate all the insight! 295-55 would by my ideal size in the Toyo but I am trying to avoid going to a 10 ply tire and avoid the weight increase as well. It's taken me longer to pick out tires than wheels haha so frustrating!

Feel your pain man, I was in that same exact boat. Want to keep it all P rated (or XL which is still P) and go bigger. Very hard lol. If your happy with your height, go 305/50. If you want a little more consider the nitto's. Lemme know what you decide man, either way it'll look miles better than 275.

Finally got my Pop-N-Lock tailgate lock installed. Not sure why I put it off for so long -- isn't hard to install, and it's such a nice feature to have. Great to lock up the entire truck from afar, even by way of the OnStar app.

Also, I managed to install a Panavise IP mount for a new charging cradle for my smartphone...nice to just slide it right in and have it start charging, and have apps/ Waze/ etc. at hand. I have it temporarily wired up via a 12V adapter plug, but will be hard-wiring it in time, since I now have ATR fuse taps and know where the factory IP ground points are. Pics to come...
