The only time a V6 sounds good to me is when you cant hear it, I had grand national Buick one weekend, couldn't handle the sound. Just have to have that V8 sound.

That's the only complaint I had with the EB 6 - it was very quiet. I like the V8 sound as well.

Yes but it's a 6 cyl.

Wkaesetter...why did you delete your post. It was a good one. :dunno: I won't tell anyone about it - honest. LOL

Well, I found out my buddy added some 'extras'.... he has too much for money to be good, lets just say, his engine has a turbo, but is nothing is stock.

I loved mine after I put on the Solo Mach-X.

BTW, you will rarely ever see me bash a brand...they all have purpose, you can check any of my posts over there (13'TwinScrew). Ford Corporation treated me pretty poorly with some known issues...

I'm pretty happy overall, wish I would could have sprung for the 6.2L...other than that I really haven't had any regrets.

they sound that way because of their head design... but yes I agree they sound terrible, along with any other 4 or 6 cylinder with a fart can on them!

Some times factory performance cars have good sounding tuned exhaust. We have a 2001 Acura Integra type R that revs to 9500 RPMS sounds like an Indy car when you get on it and go pas 6000 RPMS. Our Geneses Sedan you hear nothing while going 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds its a V6. But the V8 sound is still the best.

Must be heavily modified if it is the V6. https://www.0-60specs.com/hyundai-genesis-0-60-times/

There are plenty of different places you can get specs from, I believe I got mine from the old Hyundai enthusiast forum if we are splitting hairs. I can post plenty of different specs for the 14 5.3 trucks too. So what's your point, I think I made mine in this old thread.

No point just amazed at your 0-60 claim. And a 2 second difference 0-60 is hardly splitting hairs.

Two seconds , I don't think there is any Geneses that is that slow. Do I really think my wife's Geneses is that fast, no, but I didn't make it up that would be foolish in this high tec world.

Its all good, I am not trying to start anything. No doubt they are quick. I am a big car enthusiast that is why your post peaked my curiosity. I am always looking for the next car for the wife or I. I love cars that are deceptively fast, that is why I even bothered to look into it. Nice cars...
