fuse36 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) truck has changed even more since these pics.. That has to have a leveling kit. They don't come level from gm. Looks good. fuse36 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I got tired on the truck spinning at every red light in the rain and getting stuck on flat grass in a 4x4 on the stock Goodyears. I am noow running 275/70r18 BFG KO's. I do not have a front level (my truck sits dead level stock anyway) and I have tried to make the tires rub at full lock by backing over speed bumps and even onto curbs and it will not rub. The truck looks 100% better to me than with the stock strret treads.Gm trucks don't come stock level. If it's level it has leveling kit Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk sorry pictures won't turn to the right side even if i rotate looks good antoine08. what's the noise level on those trail blades? if you roll down your windows and turn your radio down then u can hear it not to loud but noticeable. but if your windows or up or your listening to the radio i won't bother you at all i love them. i expected them to be louder so i am really happy 1
14x4 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Went with the +12 worx beast and Nitto trail grappler 275/70R18. Rough country 2.5in front and 2in rear. Wheel cut all the way I barely rub the mudflap. I think if I didn't have mudflaps it wouldn't touch. It seems like Trail Grapplers are the biggest looking (or truest) tire in 275/70r18. If I were to go with the exact same tires on a 18x9 +18 offset with a 2" level, think I'd rub? How about 18x9 with -12 offset? Thanks for any help.

But the -12mm is likely going to rub. I have a 2" level and I'm running 275/70/18's on stock 24mm offset rims…

There's a guy on GMFS running 295/70r17 on a 2014 with a 2" level but he didn't state whether he had any rubbing issues. If I were to run a 295/70r17 tire on a 17x8.5, 0mm wheel, does anyone know if I'd have rubbing issues? I believe those wheels would stick out just about 1" more than my stock 18x8.5 z71 wheels with +24mm offset (or am I wrong?). Edited October 13, 2014 by 14x4
JOSHUA__MARSH Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Just got my wheel package put on and want some opinions. I think it turned out awesome, just wondering if I should just leave it leveled or go with a 1.5 body lift on top of this. Wheels are Raceline Rampage 20 inch at a 0 offset and stick out just a hair and I got the new Toyo Open Country RT tires 33x12.5x20, tire is awesome. Very quiet and has a very aggressive look to it without going to a MT. Does not rub at all, still room to play, I did have to take my splash guards off as they would rub on those at full lock in reverse, but just slightly. Very happy with the final product. These new Toyo tires I strongly recommend. Just waiting on my tinted tail lights and 3rd brake light now. Opinions please. 1
