It'll be the color I'll be aiming for when I buy. Could care less about resale. It looks great.

Do certain colors have better resale? Which ones?

Probably not. I'm saying that based on the assumption that what Won said has any merit.

Let's be honest. It doesn't.

I'm not in the car sales business, but a close friend of 20 years is..... he told me that typically dealerships will mark up RED vehicles $1000 to $2000 higher than other colors, just because they're RED. Red sells. (According to him). He said if they put a bright red car or truck on the corner of their lot, on an elevated platform, it will sell the same day..... other colors not so much.

It is an impulse buy color. 5 years later when you go to trade it in, all you hear is: "Dude, your truck is green. No one wants a green used truck."

I am not sure where you are located, but here in Texas it doesn't matter what color your truck is more than likely you will be able to sell it. I personally love the way the gmt-800 looked in green and the way this truck looks in green. The only thing from stopping me to buy a green truck and why I got my truck in white is because of scratches and imperfections. White and silver tends to hide scratches and imperfections a lot better than any dark color including green, which is why I got white. Plus a white truck leveled with some black accents always looks killer, there are some nice chrome white trucks too but I like the black accents better. (i.e. wheels logos etc but not too much)

Maybe that's why none of the dealers in my town would offer me an awesome deal like I see in the price paid thread. I was shopping for a victory red.

Just saw this green Z 71 at a local dealership. And holy cow! It looks so much better in person.

Holy Nice Silverado.........!!!!

I just passed a Chevy in that green tonight on my way home from work. First one I've seen, other than the pics of the GMC's last night. Looked very nice!

Dammit the GMCs wear that green especially good! I won't be buying till sometime early next year if all goes to plan but I was primarily considering the Chevy since I've read so many complaints about how awful the headlights are on the GMC but I may suck it up because that looks so nice.
