60k. Groan/squeak is still there. Better or worse on any given day. Guess I've gotten used to it. What's funny is the 114k mile '89 K5 in my aviator does not have a squeaky groany pedal. I might try pulling the boot back and putting some grease on the linkage like a user on another forum did on his truck.

So infuriating that the brake pedal squeak and flapper valve chirp are being labeled as "normal" conditions. I've given en up getting a resolution so I have to sacrifice mileage by keeping the valve open or buy a new exhaust. The brake squeak is so bad my family doesn't want to ride in my truck as it is so annoying. After 7 GM trucks, I'm moving to Ford on the next go round. Frustrated!!

I have a 2015 Chevy suburban with the same problem. It only has 40000 miles. I love paying 60,0000 dollars for a vehicle with a squeaky brake pedal. It's out of warranty so I'm sure they will chare me 250 dollars just for them to say yup you have a squeaky brake pedal.

I have 71k on my truck now. Some days the pedal squeaks, other days it does not. Not terrible. My wife's '15 Enclave has 30k on it and the brake pedal does the same thing. Squeaks when you press on it. 2 for 2.

Just purchased a 15 Sierra 1500 slt with 13600 on the clock last Monday...have the same squeaky brake pedal noise...was gonna spray the bushings with some white silicone to see if that fixes it...don’t wanna bring it back to the dealership...owned it for a week and brought it back for a loud blower motor (ended up being a leaf in there) and got the truck back with a scratch on the passenger rear...called them and they gave me a hassle so I fixed it myself...now I have 2 years of free maintenance and a warranty that’ll probably never be used again...I guess even big name dealerships suck too lol

Same  annoying and frustrating problem here.  I’ve had the brake booster replaced twice on my 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ and still have the problem.  I’ve been a GM man for the last 35 years,  but seriously contemplating seeking a different brand.

Hi, My 2015 Silverado with 18K miles just started doing this also (Squeaky brake pedal) especially on humid days. Chevy dealer will be replacing the brake booster tomorrow.

Jeep Wrangler Jk's have this same issue with the potentially the same "resolution." I had the brake booster swapped on the JK and it was quiet for a few months then came back. So I suspect that those who say they will leave to a different brand will be surprised if they make their way over to Dodge.

Replaced my brake booster and problem solved!

I had a Jeep Wrangler with the same problem. After two failed fixes, replacing the brake booster was also the solution for that.

We have a 2013 Traverse with the same squeaky brake pedal.  Dealership says that is normal.  I told him it isn't normal as I wouldn't have bought it making that noise.  Then the other person in the dealership (a woman) stated that it has happened over and over and there isn't anything that they can do for it.  Come on GM, I have had Tahoes with 250K+ miles that it never happened in, Silverados that it never happened in, I have a GMC 2500 that it has never happened in....  What gives?  It's like fingernails on a chalkboard, this needs to be fixed.  The dealership shouldn't be telling people basically "oh well, live with it"

I have a 2015 Chevy Traverse and every since the dealer did the fluid flush the brake pedal has been squeaking. They told me there was a couple of service bulletins for this issue but I think @ $120.00 is to much just to be told what to do when they should know the problem by now.
