Well, glad I'm replacing this fuel hose. When I was bending to pull off(talking about the cracking, the white braid is because I cut it):

Got the rest of my painless powerbraid!

On another note, I'm replacing the blue hose in the pic before too long. Think I'll go with red next, match the plug wires (and car).

Eventually I'll put a metal radiator hose on. Not sure if I'll do polished or powdercoated.

DONE! Think it took around 8 hours. Bundling the wires, zip tying them, routing them, measuring the braid, etc takes longer than I would have ever thought, and I'm only kinda pleased with the results some before pics are a few pages back.

Here is the before for reference:.

Also did the million wires coming out of the MSD box in the middle of the under dash area, but phone didn't want to focus.

I finally got around to installing the Elite Engineering Catch-can, Roto-Fab cold air intake and GTO clutch reservoir on the Camaro. Took me a while, total 3hrs. Not that any of it was hard, just was super hot and humid and I was totally soaked in sweat by the time I was done. I had a hard time getting some of the lines off the intake. The release tab was underneath and hard to get to with my hands.

Why GM incorporated the clutch fluid in with the brake fluid is beyond me, but they did and this is one of the many little changes most are doing since the clutch fluid gets contaminated quickly. Makes for easy change out of fluid.

The catch-can seems to be another hot item to have installed on these LS engines. I noticed that when I pulled the line off my intake it was covered in oil. So this should help keep the oil out of the intake.

The Roto-Fab cold air intake is a nice addition and it also allows for better engine song to escape from under the hood under WOT. smile.gif

Yes, I need to clean up under the hood, it is a mess. What do you expect for it having only 6k miles on the thing, to be spotless? biggrin.gif

Well I got around to changing the oil today. I have 7k miles on it and this oil has 3k miles with a PF48 filter. Sending in a sample to see how it looks. Took it out for about an hour of drive time to get things warmed up and came in off the interstate and right up on the ramps to change the oil. I also took the time to install my skip shift. It will be a year since I purchased it from Apex over their Christmas special. So now no more skip shift.

Love the funnel. It just screws right in like the oil cap. Keeps things nice and clean for the oil change and hands free.

Next oil change I'll install the Ea15k50 oil filter on it. I had the PF48 so I just used it for now. I figure this will be in until next September since I don't put that many miles on it. Although they are fun "hard" miles.

where did you get that funnel?

Got if off Amazon. GM oil filler tool. What stinks is a local store here had them on the shelf cheaper for like $19.
