The 50th had them too I think. Found there are three or four ZL1s with 4 digit miles for 49-55(6 speed or auto, between 1200 and 7000 miles asking price in the area depending on options. I am not looking at one.

I would bring it home. think I'll hold off another year, that market crash is just around the corner supposedly.

Well my wife is maybe set on getting one now, I told her it's her turn, I bought enough cars doing the decisions myself. We went to buy a 17 SS convertible but when we got there it was out for a Test Drive. We left and came back later and the guy had bought it. The guy was in a "want to buy something mood" it sounded like, I saw him pacing between a few trying to decide. I wasn't sad, (I was underwhelmed, it wasnt much to me anymore since my sense of speed is way out of whack now. It's not a slow car, but it's far from 750HP and a  4.54 rear end I got used to), but I found a red one two hours away. And my wife that hates bright red cars but wants to go look at it.

I did find a really nice hyper blue convertible with Kalahari leather but they want too much, way more than the extra options are actually worth compared to others I have found. Like 8k more to get dual mode and magnaride. I'm fine waiting for the bond collapse, as cars will likely take big hit.

On another note......ZL1.

I said to my wife it was her turn once. She picked out a 2001 Acura Intagra type R. She still has it, drove as a DD for 2 years and put it up claiming it was going to be a collector. I laugh, not laughing anymore. I can’t recall anytime she was wrong about anything. I just say yes dear.

My wife is technically up 2 on me.  She doesnt want a new one so she gets skipped lol.  Starting to plan for a new truck next :)

Lucky for me (and my finances ...), my wife loves older vehicles as much, if not more, than I do. If I bought her something new, she'd kill me. Whenever I want to get her going, I say I'm thinking of selling the '86 Grand Marquis. :D

I'm even luckier, no wife so I can buy what I want, when I want.

I handle the finances, so, me too. :)

We have ZERO desire to go into debt for something that will be a pile of scrap in 12 years. Only "new" vehicle you'll see in this garage from here on out will be built before 1973.

This summer, I'm planning on buying a paramotor. Finances are a little tight after my shop construction (which still isn't done yet), so it might be next year. That'll be my "other" car. No registration, no license, no insurance - absolute freedom. The last vestige in this country today.

Well I don't know what's going on. I pitched one I knew she wouldn't want, a loaded leftover 2017 coupe. Magnaride, dual mode, black spider webish wheels etc. 20%~ off( am I right that that is a GM discount and you could probably get them down more?). She didn't like the idea as I thought....for 3 days. Now I think she wants to drive it too. We can pay for it,  sure, but we sure don't need it. Two perfectly reliable cars that will last us a long time. And it's fun watching people under estimate the accord.

Most of you know about the exploding firebird, I got that so getting what I want isnt a issue, no matter how expensively bad the idea. But this is all wrong. I havent even had to try to persuade. Maybe she's been replaced with a pod person.

Negotiated on a 2017 SS Convertible. I showed them the price on three that were two hours away and they told me that's where I need to go.

That was a first. Needless to say, I'll be looking at three black ones in 40 more minutes. The one I left had curb rash on EVERY wheel, has more miles, and is $2500 more than the most expensive black one at the other dealer with perfect wheels. They wouldn't even budge.

The 20% is on a new one. Which we are buying now, providing they lower a touch. I just saw GM isn't offering the 20% anymore on 2017s? I THOUGHT that was good until they sold

_______ you Ryan.  You can fill in the blank yourself.

J/k I have been doing build it on their site for over a year now

Nah, I have wanted a magnaride since they were put on the SS. It ended up being 18% off. My wife loved the accent lighting, seats were more comfy to her, (has the lit up sill plates) and the mag
