Never liked the big GMC emblem on the back. Decided to order a 2013 GMC tailgate emblem to compliment the sierra logo. Happy with the results...

It was a little time consuming. When removing the emblem you have to make sure all edges are accounted for and you peel it straight off. I've seen a lot of people chip their paint when the corners of the emblem dig into the paint. The whole process would have been a lot easier with a 3m wheel, but their adhesive remover did the trick with some elbow grease. Don't rub too hard, that stuff has been known to damage paint if not used correctly.

Looks great, I was going to do the same thing, have the smaller emblem and all, just never got around to installing it. Thanks for sharing pics, I think I'll make time to do this now!

Looks good. But I like the throwback of the big GMC emblem. I saw a late 80's early 90's sierra the other day and noticed it had a big center mounted GMC emblem. Thought it was cool that an old truck added the new badges, turns out no, thats how they used to come from the factory.
