I have a 010 Silverado. I was wondering if I should go with the Black Bear Auto Cal tune or Hypertech max

A custom tune is WAY better than a generic canned tune. Go with Black Bear.

You will not find anyone that will condone a canned tune over a custom one.. For a canned tune, the Hyper may be good. But a custom would take a great canned tune to the next level. I considered the price difference between a can and custom. Went with the custom BlackBear, never looked back...

First see if black bear will have a meet on their website near you. If not proceed to the autocal

I did BBP and I purchased the autocal. I like the option of putting the stock tune back on the truck.

After I got Hypertech, it lights up at a 20 roll turns em going into second, no more V4. Im not saying its the best but I got it cheap and in one day.

I just had a Blackbear tune done and I'm very happy. Something the canned tunes won't do is tell you that you have a hose disconnected on your intake tube. I sent my initial log to Blackbear and he looked at it and emailed me to check a hose on the intake tube. It was hidden under the engine cover. When I removed the engine cover this is what I found:

Its this simple, as stated above- don't waste your money. Blackbear always wins hands down.

If you mean a code reader they do and you can check it yourself.

Got my hypertech installed last night. No complaints.

I did +200 rpm rev limit and +200 rpm on all shift points. 25% shift firmness. Seems good to me.
