tow mirrors problem

Is there a way to remove the mirror (glass) to replace the wiring? My adjustment works when retraced but not extended?

You have to break the glass to get to the screws that hold the mirror glass to the motor.

I have removed my mirror glass before exactly like shown in that video with no issue. Now if i could get he mirror to just stop shacking while on the highway.

I should have thought before I spoke lol. The older ones (2006 when they first made those mirrors) you had to break the lower one to get them. The new ones, the video you posted is the correct way to do it.
