I like the '14 better. Not just because mine's the '14, but I like being more black than chrome. I like some chrome but there can be too much. At least for me anyways.

I just looked and it seems that the different grille is only for LTZs, the LT will have the same Z71 grille as the'14s.

I like the '14.

I was looking at some 2015's yesterday, the LTZ Z71 grille looks much better in person.

Now your grille looks good. Yours has the "chrome" crossbars in the grill, and it also appears to have a black edge around it, although it's kinda hard to see from the camera angle. The pic of the factory grille has an argent edge, which doesn't highlight the grille section as well.

Yours to me looks nicer than the OEM, that black edge makes a big difference IMHO.

Well I like my 2014 LTZ chrome front end... Pbbbbbttt....HPIM1593.JPG

I wish the LTZ came with the LT grille, but with the gray painted to body color. I'm not a fan of all the chrome and liked the more body color look of my 2012.

I hate the chrome mirror backs, too. Any way to get body-paint colored ones?

I'm going to have to get used to the angry looks of all the people I'm blinding in mid-day traffic...

Greatly dislike the 2015 LTZ Z71 grill. It looks blah.... The 2014 with the black grill looked so much better. Actually, my preference is the 1WT with the black grill and surounding.

Here is my solution to the all black Z71 grill problem.  I couldn't justify spending 100's of dollars for another grill and hours of time dismantling the front of my  truck.  I also am  not a fan of the snap on inserts.  Too  much chrome. This took all of about 15 minutes and cost is about 8 bucks. Very inexpensive upgrade and no more unneeded chrome:

So how did you do it?  Just paint or was it some sort of stick-on chrome?

I used a 1" foam brush and a can of silver paint. Figured if it didn't look good I could wipe it off but it works for me.
