Hey bud, did you buy any of the wire terminals for the plugs? If so, where did you buy them?

Which plugs? All the plugs should be there if your talking about the wheel. The only thing you need is the new clock spring I believe. Other than the heating element. Which I too am needing some help with. I did manage to get it to turn on with the cigarette lighter type plug, but I don't know how to do the wiring through the wheel so it doesn't get tangled up and then ripped out when turning. So I would need some kind of factory set up.

You need the clock spring with the heated steering wheel circuit in it.

Plug and play from there?

Basically the new clock spring will have two extra wires on the column side for the heated wheel, you'll need to tie into ground and power (I used a fuse tap to get the power off the fuse for the heated steering wheel instead of trying to tackle the back of the harness on the fuse box). The steering wheel side will be plug and play.

You have lights that don't work right now? The stereo control lights won't work without tying those into the gauge cluster that supports steering wheel controls but your cruise lights should work. Heck, it has been so long since I have done this I actually can't remember.

Cruise works, but the lights don't. I'm assuming it's because I need the clock spring to support it and the extra wires. I think I read on one of the other forum topics that when you replace the c-spring it will function again as it should. We will see though...

Yup. There was a vendor out there telling people they needed BCM programming because they couldn't do what we do and that was their out LOL 100% Plug and play with our custom programming and not to toot our own horn (because this gets asked frequently) but yes we are the only place that does this (for dealers and customers all over the world :))

Not to mention the poor guy from mexico has a locked odometer too :(

Hey Chris, if I buy a brand new cluster do I still need to have it programmed? P/n 84385168 installing in a 2018 Silverado

Yes even new they need our custom retrofit programming. You might want to check our prices as well we sell a LOT of them due to our price for a brand new full warrantied unit AND you retain factory warranty if you get the whole thing turn key from us.
