Thought i saw them out or something. It sure has taken quite a while to get them to the market for our trucks. They've been out for other vehicles for some time to my understanding.

Last update we got was 2013 and below would be out by spring/summer, with 2014+ being out fall/winter. Could always change...to a later date haha

Not that i'm at a point to upgrade but it's in the back of my head, less a more affordable large diameter shock comes out. Ideally i'd like to grab new control arms and some nice Icon or fox coilovers, but that stuff's pricey. I don't mind the Bilstein price.

Think MRT had all 4 Fox 2.0 for 900 and some. 6112s will probably be in that neighborhood.

Hell since then and doing some reading i think i'm going with King 2.5 OEMs and BajaKits UCAs, then down the road add their chase kit leaf package and king shocks as well. Would give me 9" of wheel travel. I might consider some other control arms if they would squeeze out another inch which would put me at an inch behind a mid travel kit on a 4WD. Hindsight is 20/20 but had i had it to do over again, i would've put a spacer kit on to clear my tires and save up for what i'm looking at now.

Can I get away with just installing the front 5100s on my 2017 Silverado? I just want to level the truck.

I don't see why not. Though i can't comment on how it would ride on the back side with different shocks. Probably be okay.

Spend the extra money and get the 5100 rears. such an improvement!

Went down our turn road today with a couple of washed out spots at 55, they still handle very well all things considering. I'm interested to see how much different the kings and upper control arms are going to be. My brother road with me and said it was extremely noticeable over his OEM shocks with a spacer leveling kit.

I did 5100's rear only, really like how this truck corners and handles weight.

I like the rake, and the front works well. (till 40kmi or so when stockers usually crap out)

(9000mi on my '17, put rears on at 800mi) :)

Should I just get a leveling kit? or uprgrade to Bilstein 5100s all around and put it on the top setting on the front to achieve my level look?

Any plans to go further than the Bilsteins? If so, grab a spacer kit and save for something nice. If not i still recommend the Bilsteins over a spacer kit, though some will disagree with me. Major issue with the Bilsteins cost wise is you have to use the OEM springs and most of us don't have spring compressors so this ends up in you taking the truck to a shop somewhere. As of right now i should have my kings by the end of may and will likely put my Bilsteins up for sale, with the OEM springs still on them.

I did 5100s on the front on the 3rd setting and 4600s on the rear since I tow a lot. It rides sooooooo much better than stock.

I mean later down the road I might put a lift on it, but that will be 3-4 years down the road if I do that.

Just wanting a level look for now.

Why didn't you do 5100s on the rear? Thought they were more better for towing and such?

I might do 5100s all around don't know for sure yet lol
