Oh yeah. Dealer. Warranty. CPU done lost its mind. Could be wiring/sensor failure as well.

Either way, dealer, warranty.

Sensors can be disabled by snow/heavy rain and whatnot. Everything clean back there?

Where do you live?

It's freezing here and over the past two winters, if I wash my truck and don't put it in the garage right away, ice will form over the sensors make the truck thing that something is constantly within the sensor warning distance. If the sensor doesn't change over a couple of seconds, the sensors are temporarily disabled and unavailable.

If those sensors have even the least bit of ice/snow/mud on them they wont work.

Thanks! This is exactly what happened.

Weather related. Bullshit if you ask me.

It's a deliberate faulty design by GM to ensure every GM vehicle on the road is shining and clean, making other dirty vehicles look inferior and therefore promoting their brand and new sales. [emoji6]

Call up GM and tell them you want heated park assist sensors then... :wtf:

Guess that's why it's optional.

My rear parking assist on my 2014 sierra all terrain suddenly stopped working. The screen says rear parking assist symbols unavailable. Any ideas?

Did you ever find out what caused the problem with that warning message? I replaced the sensors and the module and mine still gives me this message. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to know as well, I've got the same message every day.

I can temporarily disable the message and see the camera when reversing by pressing the backup sensor switch on the lower dash.
