I like how people are taking information found on the Internet to use as "factual" information to support an argument. Haha the Internet!

 

Regardless, the film is meant to draw in an audience for theatrical value. Without exaggerations it wouldn't earn as much and that is the bottom line for those folks.

Looked into the "lies", looks like some of them were, but the people championing them are pretty left wing. One article even says that Chris lied just like all the Vietnam vets claiming people protesting Vietnam.

 

 

Yeah, read that last sentence again. One guy claims people didn't protest Vietnam and spit on the troops. Too bad I know Vietnam Vets that have told me their personal accounts of getting SPIT ON by American citizens.

Yes. Some could be lies. Some of these people quote the NYT, which has been caught a lot recently lying themselves.

I read the book a while ago; it's a great story. If the book has been transferred to the big screen as convincingly as Black Hawk Down was, I'll be pleased to see it.

I remember the news when spat on,wished they chased them down and beat their A$$, I was 15 and glad when troops came home

I actually like it better than Blackhawk Down, although the intensity level was about the same. Extremely intense moments. Chris Kyle had determination like I've never seen. Nothing would stop him from saving American lives.

 

My wife's hands were still shaking a half hour after the movie.
