I only use 2 of the Zaino products.

Z6 to for quick spot cleaning or water spots.

Z8 every week or two for shine and paint protection.

I've been detailing cars and trucks for 30 years. I've found that a lot of the stuff you buy and apply is simply a waste of time and money. You can spend hundreds/thousands of dollars on waxes, sprays, sealants, glazes, etc. But nothing has ever made my vehicles look better than Z8. I use it on the Silverado, Equinox and the Corvette.

Just about every week someone will say... "Wow, that's the shiniest paint I've ever seen!"

Keep in mind that what I just stated applies to new or newer vehicles. On paint that is in bad shape, old, oxidized, etc. it's a completely different process.... Paint restoration!

Thanks for the info! did you do anything else to your truck to get that shine before applying Zaino? i will definitely be getting the z6 and z8 after seeing your Truck and Vette also wondering how well that would protect as far as salt in winter is it as good as a normal wax or better even? I have waxed once before winter should I try to take that off with some dawn soap before i start with the z6 - z8? sorry for all the questions lol

Welcome. Great setup, color, cab... you nailed it  Might be biased though... And remember, they dropped this color after the 14's, which means our trucks will be "rare" I keep debating going to a camper shell. Looks really good on there.

Thanks I seen your truck awhile back in the SG/ BG color pics post (love it of course) I use my topper a lot and it matches color nice. did you ever level your truck? Ive had the RC 2.5 under my back seat for months but i kept debating switching to a CC 6.5 box so I didn't want to do to much to this truck in case I traded it but I finally decide I will keep the DC so I will level mine soon (waiting for at least a 30 degree day) and order some tires also and hopefully some other mods to come, this site makes me want to spend more cash everyday with all the mods HA

The day I bought the truck, I applied one coat of Blackfire Wet Diamond (sealant). After that just Z6/Z8.

If you've already waxed it, no need to remove it. Z6/Z8 works great over any prior applications.
