I am happy to see they are using focus groups for input. I hope they also utilize this message board

She managed the noise and vibration center.

Per the article, her job is to bring the next gen truck on time and budget.

She must not have been on the GMT900 team. The noise in these trucks is horrendous..

Mine is only bad in real cold weather 5 to negative temps

Mine isn't great. Extended cabs with the rear hinged doors never are. But the new trucks are awesomely quiet.

It will be interesting to see what comes out next time around. I have not gotten to test ride a new truck but from what I have heard from others that own them, they are a major improvement.

Hopefully they will take pointers from this site on what people are looking for in a truck.

Thanks for the article Ryan! Very interesting.

Interesting. I wonder what became of Jeff Luke? He was put into that position in August 2012 and then the trucks went on to win a few awards.

That is the job of any project leader. They also decide what that timeline and budget are on the front end of the project. I don't see any issue with that.

The rumor is the new truck will be coming out in 2018

Definitely will be mid-cycle refreshers. Like Ryan said this is only referring to a new truck.
