I picked up my 2016 High Country on Friday. Really like the truck so far.

I'm really liking the High Country in the big booty truck.

All you guys with cab marker lights can kiss my ass.

I'm not always a fan, but I like the look of the LEDs with smoked lenses :)

And I'm really happy with the 50 miles I've put on it already!!!! Love it!!

Had a brief foray with a Ram 2500 that had the 6.4L V8 Gas engine. Loud engine tick at cold start and constant clatter at idle - the thing sounded like an ecodiesel. Dealership acknowledged there was something wrong, but could not determine what it was. Chrysler recommended to "tear into the engine to see what's wrong". Dealer refused to do any work until they knew what was wrong. Tried to convince me nothing was wrong with it. Never had an issue with my previous 2 Silverado 1/2 tons. Shame on me. Dumped the Ram, disclosed the sounds with the Chevy dealer, took a loss, and got the 3500 Duramax/Allison. Happy camper.

Here are some pictures. Had the running boards installed yesterday. Will get some more pictures up later.

Picked it up yesterday at the dealer, I like it a BUNCH!! I won't never buy a 1500 again just after two days of ownership. Have not hooked up yet to my toy hauler yet but get a feeling it just might jerk the wheels off of it. I bet this diesel is pretty good. Still need to do some mods to it but love it.

I leveled it and added a set of Toyo muds 285/70/18. It came with Michelin 265/70/18. I already had my tires ordered before I saw on this website that a couple others had fit 295/70/18. I guess this will give me an excuse to get a wider custom wheel:) And the pictures are reversed, more like after and before.
