Chevy Silverado Eroding Ford F-150 Market Share

I don't know if anyone has posted this but impressive sales numbers. GM trucks more popular than ever!

When I bought my 2014 Silverado I didn't even consider a new F150. No comparison for me.

The Ford buyers are having some issues. Doors not sitting flush with the rest of the body, air leaks around the doors and windows, water leaks in the moon roofs, rear armrests that won't go back into their seat backs as designed. Not to mention the amount of money they are asking for the things. Our trucks are superior and cheaper, why would anyone buy a Ford knowing that?

The GM trucks actually have a higher ATP(Average Transaction Price) than the F-150, so technically the GM trucks are more expensive.

Gm has been stepping up their game I can only imagine the next gen on trucks

Price wise there almost identical. I just finished test driving 3 different 15 f150 s.and a 15 silverado with 5.3 and max tow. Chevy feel s solid like a chunk of metal, better quality, nicer interior. Ford feels fast and light on its feet with both the 3.5 ecoboost and 5.0 3.73.What bugs me about ford is on the xlt model you can't get auto climate control and auto 4x4. Also f150 40/20/40 sucks you have to get the sport package too get a decent interior. F150 sound system is crap the base 8" mylink on LT 1 sounds way better. Tailgate step on f150 is a joke and no easy down gate on xlt models as well. The tailgate locks remotely but I would find that a pia. Sync 2 by Microsoft sucks.

The Yahoo article told a different story... the only reason sales are up is because of Ford's supply problem. As the second plant comes online this month, they will kill GM. Average 2015 Ford is selling for $2000 more than last year and an average of less than 12 days on the lot.

Article has bias all over it. And off course some you nut hugging brand loyalist are all over this like a pack of wild dogs. Just remember it's been #1 seller forever now.

I can guarantee you that won't stop now. And looks are subjective. I'll bet anyone 3 to 1 odds , it's the #1 seller again ? Anyone? C'mon you ford hating suckers , let me take some of your money

Exactly. That's why I gave my money to GM. Not because of quality reasons. That's for sure...lol. They all have their issues. So what's left?

The F150 is a truck and the RAM is a truck. So is the new Titan.

Didn't buy them 'cause of the look.
