A bit off topic but not really...I read an article in the recent Truck Trend magazine that GMC is investigating bringing out a "Jeep-like" off road SUV..

Yeah I heard about that, GMC is wanting an actual reason to exist other than design options, probably afraid the General is going to pull another Pontiac/Olds/Hummer down the road. Imagine if GM put all those preproduction efforts and costs into their other cars. Brand loyalist would just switch to another GM, and Buick would get the showroom space it wants(heard they are starting to complain with rising sales), and maybe Silverado would finally end that proverbial astrick on Ford's best selling claims.

I've thought of that too...although another way to do it would be to take all trucks out of the Chevy line up and make GMC the exclusive truck brand. Either way would be a good idea in my opinion.

Only issue I could see with either is there are a lot of dedicated Sierra or Silverado fans out there and that might tick them off. But hey no matter what you do there will always be someone ticked off with any change.

I went with this because it was small. Most kits are duals which I think looks horrible on a Jeep and I wanted one without an extravagant tip because it would only get chewed offroad.

I know you dislike the corsa tip but i know you like the sound of it

The tip on the Wrangler exhaust isn't the same as they use on the trucks, it's a single outlet but I didn't want a tip extending along the underside of the bumper. The factory one ended before it for a reason and I wanted to maintain that to keep from crushing the pipe off road or making it look out of place if I buy a replacement bumper down the road. This is a V6, the sound is never going to be good, I just wanted something that actually gave the exhaust tone, not just noise. lol
