Yeah I got the whole Hellwig package last year with the Wilwood 16's/14's, Bilsteins F&R, Beltech 4601 shackles and a few other goodies which will be going on when I get done with the audio. Just too many projects and I dont want to keep bouncing back and forth.

I have already had the rear Ranchos replaced for not being in spec. Evidently GM had a large number of them with contaminated oil in them and it was causing problems with load on them. I just dont think the react quick enough to keep road imperfections out of the cab. I am hoping the Bilsteins are a bit better and I will be happy!

BTW the front Hellwig is a BEAST of a bar!

Please pass the voting link along, I'd really appreciate that.

Was the front as easy as the rear looks? (install)

I will pass along the info.....still crazy what you guys have done.

I never installed the front so that will be a whole new test. The instructions are pretty straight forward. Like I said I decided to wait and do all the suspension at one time.....then an alignment to make sure everything is good to go.

Just so you no, I have always been a car audio nut. Just got away from it around 1997.....then became friends with Kyle and the disease flared up. I am a sound quality guy, not a bass-head. Although that single 12 I am using will definately drop some HZ. So my focus has always been clarity and LOUD CLARITY! lol

Thanks....and dont be a stranger, drop in and post on my build. Always interested in what I could do next.....

How are the new lugs holding up? Better than the old ones? I need to pull the trigger on a new set, mine are looking pretty bad!

LOL, I've been too lazy (and on vacation), so I haven't put them on yet.

I might just wait for my next rotation, or I'll put them on with rear swar bar next week.

They look a crap ton better though, I'd just bit the bullet.

Here is my latest Mod:

Someone decided to be a jackhole and either hit my hood with a hammer (that is my guess) or back into my truck with some sort of round pole sticking out the back of their vehicle.

This was while my truck was parked for a week at my wife's work place in a garage that only like 15 people have key card vehicle access to enter. However, I think they let maintenance workers in that way as well, and anyone can exit through this garage as well by foot.

Swapped out the Flowmaster Super 40 for a Borla 40359 today. I did this in hopes to quiet it down just a tad since headers will be going in this weekend. I watch a video with headers and the Super 40, and it was a little louder than I liked. So, I'm going to try this out. If it's too loud, I'll probably go with that Magnaflow 22".

Here are videos of the Borla 40359:

Never realized it, but when I was searchin for tire sizes for my 14 I googled 275/60/20s and your truck is one that made me decide to get them lol. I run them in 20x10 -25 offset wheels so they stick out normally anyways. Just wanted to say the truck has come along nicely! How do you like those floor mats? I've been thinkin about Gettin them for a while now

Thank you Sir!

I like the weather techs, they are very nice. I bought the other brand first, and the holes ripped where they mounted.

Texas Speed Headers are on.

Here are 3 vids, they don't do the best capturing the sound, but it's better than nothing.

I am very happy with them. Quality is good. Finish is good. Fit is pretty good, just wish I had a tad more clearance on the crossmember. But is not hitting, so I can't complain.

I really should have done catted, to keep the noise down a little. But oh well, I'll figure out a new plan for a muffler or catback.

Oem catback is now on.

Next plan is to weld in the 22" MagnaFlow in place of the factory muffler and delete the flapper and resonator.

Ok.....disregard that last post. I am not going to do the 22" Magnaflow.

I decided to have the Borla 40359 muffler welded into the OEM Catback replacing the stock muffler and flapper. I did keep the OEM Resonator in place, and I am happy with the results.

Hopefully I am done with Exhaust components now!

Here are a couple videos. Normal Accel, Hard Accel (windows up for both), and then Warm Start with Rev. I'll upload a cold start after I grab a video tomorrow morning.

This setup sounds great to me. It's nice and quiet cruising, and make noise when you want it to.

NOTE: I have 4 cyl mode (AFM) tuned out, that is why I got rid of the flapper. If you have it still active, I'd leave it in place so you don't get the chopper noise.

Hard Accel:

Warm Start & Rev (and old man Kody 14.5yrs old):
