Trading for a New Ram Thank You to this forum!

Made a deal this morning for a new ram 1500 Outdoorsman. I was a Dodge man from age 16, but two of our local dealers closed in the 09 bankruptcy and so I came over to GM after some good experience with a 94 used chevy truck. now, with the current issues with my GMC, not limited to, cracked dash, peeling paint, rust, flaking wheels, and now an oil pressure code that the dealer can't figure out, all of this with 46k garage kept miles, its time for me to move on. I looked at a new Silverado but they were far higher with less options than the Ram, and the Ram just "feels" right to me. so I want to thank everyone here for being so great. I'll stick around to sell my mods hope some guys here can use them and get a good deal on what I've got. PLUS, I still drive a 2011 2500HD for work so I've got reasons to check in here.

Awesome color, nice thing about the Ram's is you can fit bigger tires a lot easier. Friend of mine has a 2012 with 35's and only threw on a damn level!

No love lost here. I have had one of everything the last 15 years. Came back to Chevy from my Ram last year. Miss that bottom end, but don't miss that 15MPG.

my Ram averages 14.5 mpg throughout the year, mostly highway 75 mph. i'm sick of crappy mileage. my next truck will probably be a V6 10spd (8spd, 21spd, whatever is available). maybe even the ford 2.7L ecoboost (gasp).

Traded in a 2013 Ram Bighorn Hemi with the 8 Speed and 3.08 rear-end for a new Silvetado. You get more features for the money but I had issues with the transmission and water pump in the 2 years I owned. The Ram was a nice truck but not one I want to keep for 10 years if i have to take it to the dealer every 6 months unike my previous silverado.

Good looking truck. My dad has a 2014 BigHorn quad cab 4x4 hemi with the 8 speed and 3:21 gears. Gets between 18-19 running around and 20-21 on the highway. He really likes it.

Although the Silverado's are still my favorite and I've absolutely loved my 08, if I were to pick a 2nd favorite it would definitely be the Ram (Big Horn).
