Squeak when throttle is applied

So I took my truck in last week it's 2016 all terrain. They tell me they have a fix but it's only available in certain parts of canada but not in b.c. Then he tells me engineers are working on a fix.... So which one is it? How hard could it be to figure this out.

Would installing an aftermarket exhaust fix this? Mine has been doing this bad. My 2015 has 41K on it.

I had my exhaust replaced by the dealer, and now it's quiet and the squeak is gone. I had to print out the tsb and show it to them as the first trip in was told it's normal noise.

So after a few months of no noise after having my exhaust replaced my daughter said today "daddy what is that rattle noise?" Sure enough the second you touch the throttle there is a rattle in the exhaust. I clamped the flapper open and the rattle stopped. Is it worth having a new exhaust put on every 3 months?

What do you mean by ticking in v4? Mine used to squeak every time it went from 4 to 8. The new one doesn't squeak but rattles under light rpms

Also a little bird told me the flapper was relocated in front of the muffler on the 2017s to eliminate the rattle noise from the flapper.

Mine has always made a squeak when going back to v8 but now when it is in v4 and under a light load it almost sound like a valve rattle or tick it might just be the flapper but I would like to know for sure

So I just got a 2015 silverado with the 5.3 V8 in it.. I have 600 miles on it and have been noticing that whenever I give it a quick little tap of acceleration I hear this squeak noise. A quick little "squeak". I also notice it when I am coming to a stop and then hit the gas again theres this squeak. Also when I am turning and hit the gas I hear it. I do not think I am crazy, and it is not a very loud glass shattering squeak but it is there. Has anyone else had this issue or heard of it? Thanks!!

Mine has been doing this since I bought it. Dealer cant hear it though. I have just gotten used to it.

GM has a bulletin for it. Print it out and hand it to the advisor. That is all I did and they ordered me a new exhaust. Supposedly there was another bulletin in February that theyou redesigned the exhaust to take care of this problem.

Twist valve open, insert bolt as shown, tighten = squeak solved

Mine didn't squeak to begin with lol but it's fixed anyhow ;)

Sounds fine, mine is a Denali with sound deadening and noise canceling if that makes a difference but it doesn't bother me at all
