ARH long tube header pic request

Does anyone have any pictures of ARH long tubes installed on a 5.3 or 6.2? I'd love to see some actual close up engine bay pics and ypipe pictures. I haven't been able to find any and am trying to decide between ARH and Kooks.

I'd go with Kooks, much better customer service, very similar headers. I have Kooks on my 2015. Love 'em!

I have had four sets of ARH and never had a problem with any of them. The last set was on my 2008 Sierra Denali for six years. No leaks or issues of any kind. ARH are 100% made in the USA with 304 SS. I was just reading an article on the Corvette Forum C7 section where someone did independent testing with three brands of headers on the same car. ARH and Kooks were close with ARH coming out on top. If memory serves me correctly, Stainless Works was the third brand and they were somewhat less power and torque. With ARH you get Nascar style merge collectors and scavenging spikes plus ball type connectors that go together easily and don't leak. The fit and finish is the best I have seen. I have pictures but they are too large to post. Not sure where Kooks are made. Used to be made in the USA but that may have changed. Send PM with email address and will forward pictures. The old style and new style look very similar. I bet the "Y" pipe and mounting flange is the only difference.

What about Pacesetter and LPP? Back when I had my 2008, those seemed to be what everyone recommended. I never did end up getting headers for it, but just sharing my thoughts.

 

Question for you guys with headers, what is the performance difference between a ORY pipe and Hi-flow cats? What do people prefer and why?

Opps I thought I had replied, but guess not. I'd like some pics of the engine compartment both sides closeup of the headers and any clearances. I'm also interested in seeing the y-pipe under the truck and where it runs.

i've had about 6 set's of pacesetters throughout the years and never had an issue. got the job done.. That being said now that I have a big boy job I'll be looking into Kook's.. great product.

I have read on several posts you don't care for ARH as people. That being said the one thing that is keeping me interested in the ARH headers is the blending and merge spike in the collector. Do you know if the kooks have a blended merge spike as well?

 

I have nothing but great things to say about ARH. I have installed them on many platforms and they developed their current 6.2L headers on a close friends 14 Denali. I have also had good luck with KOOKS back in my 4th gen F-body days.

i believe kooks also uses the spike based on the pics I have seen of the collectors. better to just call them as I don't remember, I don't usually check.

Never dealt with ARH but I can say that Kooks CSR's are great.

How-bout some detailed pics of the inside of the collector and the face of the flange area for me, and what size primary did you go with?
