How Often Do You Wash Your Truck?

Recommended Posts

sometimes twice a week but usually once a week depending on the weather. I also use adams polishes. two bucket wash with their wash pad and soap. once rinsed off I spray their detail spray over the whole truck and use a leaf blower to blow most of the water off. I then use their great white drying towel to dry. I do have a few swirl marks on my truck but that was before I started to use AP's stuff. the stuff is really great; pricey but great.

I try to do it twice a year. And that's for a big detail job....wash, wax, interior, glass, tire shine, etc. Otherwise I hardly touch it. And so far since I bought it in February 2014 I've only managed to do this once unfortunately......too busy all the time.

About once a week, usually Friday or Thursday. I use Adam's Polishes soap, wax, glaze, detail spray and every other wash I hit it with the H2O Guard and Gloss. I use microfibers, waffle towels, and wash mitt from The Rag Company. Best microfiber towels ever! I clean the inside twice a week with Adam's stuff also, looks brand new and smells like a new car still :)

She's coming due for her bi-annual buff too.

For me its just something about freshly washed/detailed datk colored vehicle, not just my truck ... they just stand out to me and look amazing.

I was driving an 08 Maxima before my truck and it was very nice, in great condition. But i only washed it maybe once a month during the summer. It was a pearl color so it was a lot easier to go with out washing often because you couldnt spot the dirt as easy.

In the winter it got washed maybe twice just because all the salt on the roads plus the sand turning melting snow brown so it was just gonna get crazy dirty

I am NOT looking forward to wonter in my nice new black truck ??

Clay, polish, wax 4 times a year and wash once a week and also clean the inside of the wheels, brake calipers and that really makes the Truck POP!

Three times a month, space it out throughout the month depending on amount of driving and conditions. Wax every other month and Seal every 4. Polish twice a year. I use Chemical Guys shampoo, Griots Garage one step sealant, clay bar, and polishing pads. Meguiars Finishing polish, Collinite 845 insulator wax, and Mothers VLR for the interior, Meguairs tire shine gel. When I dry I use a no buff spray wax from Mothers also to add some lubricity and protection when drying. Also wax my windows, you guys should definitely try it, beads water so well and helps bug comes off. Whats your guys best way to wash and keep clean the carpet type fenderwells.

I washed my truck 6 times in the first 5 days of owning it (part of owning a black truck I guess). But now I wash it probably twice a week on average.

I try to do it once a week in the spring, summer & fall. Once the snow flies I usually hit the touchless wash every other week.
