Only cutoff date I'm aware of is June 28th. Is the owner sold the car after that they are not entitled to any compensation. What is the date you are speaking about? Can you link to the official documentation please.

They have a link to the VW info. Depends on value of the car, but you could see as little as $2500. The guy that sold it after Sept 18, 2015 can actually get half the money.

Maybe I misunderstood something, but there has a estimator on the claim site. Just enter your vin and purchase date.

Oh yeah I only get the extra 10% instead of 20%. I've already filled out the paper work online with VW and agreed to sell back my 2013 Passat SEL TDI for a hair under $27k. I'm actually looking at buying two more TDI's. Or after selling back mine just flipping TDI's back to VW.
