How do you get the $10-$12k off MSRP?

I would not bother with supplier pricing this late into the model year, as most dealers should be well below supplier pricing on their 2015's at this point, and below employee pricing also.

I would be looking to start negotiations at 20% off, and going from there.. If you can't get at least $10K off, then you must not be trying too hard.

I have a supplier discount code from my employer if someone wants it. Supplier discount is only 1500 dollars more than employee discount pricing.

When you're caught doing this, because GM does checks, your companies supplier code will be revoked and everyone that has been found to have fraudulently used it will be responsible for paying back the discounted amount. Its on the supplier verification document that you signed.

Doesn't seem like it's worth lossing your job or pissing off your coworkers to me... but what would I know? I just sell the things...

Call Dave Smith Motors in Idaho. No haggling, they start taking rebates and bonuses off invoice price. I'm not affiliated in any way, but I bought my last 2 trucks there and I live in California. I've heard Truecar.com and Costco also start at invoice.

Truecar is a scam... if you check around you can easily get below their garunteed price. I cant believe people buy into it.

Agreed. If I had gone with what Truecar said was a 'good price' then I would have ended up paying much more than I did.

Thanks for your post

I figured since the GM supplier discount page clearly says you can share one code with friends or family that it was ok.

Correct, you can pass along one per year to a friend or family member, but you yourself need to register that person. The generated code from your account is different than just handing out your business ID code.

They are telling me the supplier price is basically the same as what i can get with rebates right now.

And that was exactly what I planned on doing. But as yak651 said" the rebates right now are better than supplier discount

I see a ton of 2015 GMC Sierra SLEs coming onto the lots right now, stickered @ 46-48k.

What would you all guess the discount off sticker should/would/could be?

Why can't you get both?!?

Your dealer should be discounting the price of the truck to something below supplier pricing BEFORE applying any rebates.

My truck stickered for $47,175 (CC w/ 2LT, 4wd, 5.3, buckets/bose etc.)

employee discount saved me a bit over $5009 off MSRP.

total rebates and incentives took off another $6537. Total discount off MSRP was a little over $11.5K.

$47,175 MSRP

paid $35,600.

They threw in a Line-X spray-in liner and also swapped out the black LT door handles and mirror caps for the LTZ chrome ones.

I went to Laura GMC two weeks ago, got a 2015 Denali with a $60k+ MSRP and was out the door just over $49k I believe. Needless to say I was happy!
