Mother f*cker. I just got the 1500 dollar code. Why didn't i know about this when I first bought the truck back in 2014!!!1 I could have save 1000 dollars back then.

I just got one at chevy.com on the first try using Chrome's incognito mode. Had to turn off my script blocker but it popped right up after that.

Just got one looking at the special edition Silverados. Called my dad, and he got one using the vehicle locator. I don't know if it is a coincidence or if they are handing them out like candy right now?? I have been trying to get one for weeks.

Downloaded Chrome and tried using incognito and no luck, I will try firefox. Gm may have the IP address of my company logged so they don't pop up the offer. Would be nice to have it for the next week or so when my new truck gets here.

Back to the consistent request a quote pop up for me. Maybe they've taken them off or tapered them down as of late last night (or maybe it's because this is the same PC I got it on the other day). I spent two weeks trying to get one only to find out for certain it did not stack with the conquest offer. I know some already mentioned that but had to see for my self and sure enough - no dice. Silverado purchases got $2000 conquest instead of $1000 too (at least the 2015 my father in law bought did).

I have been trying also. Firefox, Chrome Incognito with no luck. Granted I just ordered a 2016 Silverado last week. So if I had one it would probably expire before I could actually use it.

My dealer said it would take 6-8 week to come in anyway.

Does anyone know if that is an accurate quote for a new build?

Yeah, your dealer is right. The offers usually expire at the end of the month.

You should keep in touch each week with your sales consultant to see if he has a date for when it will arrive. Once you have a better idea of when the vehicle is going to arrive you can start working on getting an offer, if they have one, for that month.

Maybe you could answer this for me. I was texting with a friend who is a Finance Director at a Chevy dealer in TX. I was telling her I was trying to get a PO to knock a little bit off of my Silverado that is on order. I was trying to do a PO since it was a Company purchase and I couldn't use my Father in Laws GM discount. She said if my name and the company name were on the contract in any order I could use a GM Employee discount. We have never done it in the past because we were told that Company vehicles were not allowed the GM Employee discount, even though those contracts were in both of our names.

Do you know? If so then I will pursue getting the employee deal as it will be a much better deal than any PO.

Lol! No my wife yelled at me to go eat and I sent the response with out the response.

To answer your question, your friend is right. You can't use the GM discount under a business name.

She said it if was a business name & a qualifying GM family member she thought we could. So you are saying NO?

I guess I can ask the sales manager tomorrow.

Never mind I just read through the Rules and Guidelines the FFP site and it says in the legal-ease that a vehicle can not be used for commercial use or Titled or insured by a commercial entity.

So back trying to get a PO. Makes me said cause I built out my ordered truck down to the last penny and I would have saved over 7k before whatever incentives are available the month it gets delivered.
