Grill with less crome was worth the Z71 package price to me lol

 

I would go take a pic and knock on mine to see what they really are but... Its 14 degrees outside lol

Indeed. I ordered Z71 purely for the "less chrome" look (although I then added some by going LTZ). Couldn't care less about skid plates.

My High Country 4x4 came with the front skid plate, if you can call it that. It is just a plastic shield from the radiator support to the front cross member. I think the brackets listed in your part

Can anyone confirm the actual bolt size for the two under-engine skid plates as well as the transfer case skid?  I'm seeing conflicting reports.  Either M10x1.50 with a 25mm length OR M8x1.25 with a 30mm length.  Which one is it?

This is the part number (bolts) I used when I put the metal skid plates on my truck.

Yes I know that's a dealership part where they charge you nearly $10 each per bolt, I don't enjoy getting raped unnecessarily 😄

That's the information I thought was correct, but I'm being told it's a different bolt by another guy.  I haven't installed my plate yet and the bolts and tap I bought today are for 10mmx1.50 thread as you said.  So, if what you are telling me is correct, what I bought is correct.

Not sure if this a dumb question (most are), but have you taken one of the factory ones out and compared?

 

I bought extras because the "metal" skid plates take 8 bolts, and the factory plastic shields take 6 (if I remember correctly).

I just ordered the skid plates yesterday.  I haven't taken any bolts out yet.  You are correct from what I hear the front metal plates, which there are 2 of, use 4 bolts each, and the transfer case skid uses 4 bolts.  So as of right now I have more than enough bolts to complete the job.

      Are you playing Slide Down endlessly but your score is still low? Are you constantly crashing into obstacles as the game speed increases? Don't worry, this article will share 5 invaluable tips to help you master the race and impress your friends. Golden Rules 1. Look one step further. The mistake of 90% of new players is only staring at their character. The secret of experts is to look towards the top of the screen (where the slide is about to appear). This gives your brain an extra 0.5 - 1 second to process the situation and determine the direction of movement before the obstacle approaches. 2. Use gentle movements; don't swipe too hard. Slide Down is very sensitive. Moving your finger too forcefully or with excessive amplitude will cause your character to be thrown off course or crash into a wall. Practise moving your finger with small, decisive, and precise movements. 3. Don't be greedy for gold in dangerous locations. Gold coins are tempting for buying skins, but life is more important.       I went another direction after losing a trailer tire, thanks to not being able to access air at ANY of the 5 gas stations and garages I stopped at prior, with a Toyota Tacoma onboard, 50 miles from the Canadian border.       I took a 12 second video on my iphone but the file is too big to upload. I will have to figure out how to extract the audio or just do another start with an audio recording.
