Error Code with oversize tires

Has anyone encountered an error code with either the TPMS or the Stability control when they've had oversized tires installed on their trucks. I'm putting on 275/60/20 so it's nothing extreme, but the guy at the tire shop has heard that oversized has thrown codes. I didn't think it would and haven't heard of any issues in the past but thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone else has heard anything of the same.

I'm running 285/55r20's no codes. No problems.

Shouldn't cause an issue unless they over-inflate them. Such as if you get E-rated tires and they run 80 psi on your 1500 which is way beyond overkill.

You will be fine. Im running on a +33" setup and my tires are inflated to 50 psi without any warnings or issues

Shouldn't be an issue. I have oversize tires with a leveling kit on my truck for a year now no issues

Now people have had issues with some lifts and getting Stabilitrac issues, but that is not tire related. Regardless a 275/60/20 isn't very oversized.

I have 305/55R20 and 60psi, no codes...

You wont see any issues on the trucks, on the cars that have staggered sizes you have to stay with in so much of a percentage of change or else it will throw the ABS/TCS system off and trip a code.

he must have read that in people magazine or something because that is a crock of shit. Like stated above, the only issue is if you have 31" tall tires up front and 35" tires out back. The ABS system will read too much of a difference and throw a code and disable the system. If all four tires are the same size or at least in the allotted range percentage then there will be no issues.

I have LT tires and run 55-60 pounds with no issues
