How often is too often for WOT operation

I did it once.

Was sitting in the left lane behind a car and swerved into the right lane, when another truck came barreling down behind me and changed lanes at the same moment.

Geeez, didn't expect my truck being that fast. I almost got scared...lol.

I get on it once in a while... usually just too difficult because of traffic. Sometimes I'll let the guy in front of me gain some distance from a light then ill lay into it a bit but then I gotta let up before I get to his bumper and my trans bangs into the next gear. I hate when it does that. Must be because it cannot adjust fast enough and thought it was going to shift under heavy load.

WOT is a great too for merging in Alabama. Seems like these people do not understand the concept of turn signals or matching speeds to merge. But 9/10 this 6.2L gets the trick done. I just wish it had the whine like my 5.4L supercharged GT500...miss that car.

I mash on it whenever I'm feel like it. The way I look at it is, these trucks are made to be driven and pull heavy loads on a regular basis. Throwing down on the skinny pedal shouldn't really have any affect on it at all

Whenever I am behind a slow-poke merging onto the higway at 35, it gives me a good excuse to put the petal to the metal.
