Just be careful on what the bypass presssure of the filter is. The 2014+ engines have a higher PSI spec.

Most dexos approved oils will be just fine to 10,000 miles. It's the filters that don't last that long.

I always wondered on this one.

 

One would think that if the OLM takes the oil change out to 10,000 miles then GM would feel that their AC Delco filter will also be up to the task. If not they the OLM wouldn't take it up to such a mileage. At least that is how I look at it.

 

As for filter to go the distance, you have Mobil 1, Bosch Distance Plus, Fram Ultra Synthetic and AMSOIL's Ea series filters.

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty sold on NAPA products (Wix made filters) so I've known I was good with the Gold for things up to 7000 miles and Platinum for the 10,000 miles target, but knowing the other brands out there helps.
