Consumer report review of 2015 Silverado

Has anyone else read the Jan 2016 Consumer report on the 2015 Silverado? It wasn't the magazine edition, but more of a booklet about various items like vehicles, computers, etc.

Anyway it gives positive or semi postivie reviews on just about every item, but then give it a negative review overall. What in the world is going on at Consumer Reports? Thought that they were suppose to be unbiased. But is sure doesn't look like it when it come to the Chevy trucks.

Consumer distorts is for appliance buyers. A bunch of yuppies from Connecticut won't know the first thing about trucks.

It's all about money, and their in it to make it! All those years that both the tundra and tacoma had frames rotting out underneath and they said nothing, neither did the main stream media!

They seem to be all about advertising dollars and who's willing to pay for a good review. What a disgrace.

Dunno what they're talking about, my 2014 has been awesome.

And that's all that really matters! I took ALL the others for extensive test rides because I work real hard for my money and can't afford to make a mistake. The GM trucks were far superior!

Not a negative complaint yet.., if I'm gonna nick pick.. The leather seats in my wife's Cherokee are more comfortable than my leather ones and the heated seats are better... That's it though...

Consumers Reports doesn't have advertisers and don't take advertisers money

If you really want unbiased, Road and Track, Car and Driver, and Motor Trend are where you need to read.

It doesn't matter what it is as long as it's not American made they love it.

Sorry to disappoint you.

Now the validity of their reports is another matter.

I never waste my time looking at anything from CR.

unfortunately consumer reports holds a lot of weight when it comes to people who don't know any better.
