Welp I'm going to get my RC 2" Front Level put on this week.

My 14' Sierra came with 20in. wheels and Fuzion Touring Tires. They ride like ROCKS.

I'm going to see if the dealership will buy back my tires and let me buy some new ones at cost. Maybe some Nitto Terra Grapplers...

Just not sure the MAX size I can go with zero rub. Current tire size is 275/70/20r I think..

Anyone know how big I can go?

Thanks in advance!

Did you figure out whats the max tire size you can add without rubbing?

I just got my leveling kit and I was thinking of going with 305/55/R20, any suggestions?

I'd guess 33 inch max.

I believe Stock size of 20' is P275/55/20 so 275mm X .55 X 2 / 25.4 + 20 = 31.9"

285 X .55 / 25.4 + 20 = 32.3"

295 X .55 / 25.4 + 20 = 32.8"

305 X .55 / 25.4 + 20 = 33.2"

I've got a 2" RC level with 285/65-20 BFG KO2's. I think they measure out to 34.5 tall and 9.5 wide. They only lightly rub the fender liner at full lock

Yep that is a 34.5" tire. Would they clear over bumps with a lot of wheel turn, like off road?

I've done some light off roading and haven't had a problem. But I haven't been in a situation to where is was super bumpy and had a lot of wheel turn.

Are you using the stock wheels or new ones? You can fit 34's if you get new wheels with a negative offset. I have 33's on mine with a 0 offset and there's a good 2 inch of clearance between the tire and the fender at full lock.

I've got stock All Terrain wheels, no spacers, 2" RC level with "34's" and it barely rubs the liner at full lock.

Not sure why anyone would want their tires to rub in any conditions....I would choose functionality over appearance anyday. I've been looking into this site;

www.tiresize.com/comparison

You type in the size you currently have and the size you want to upgrade to. It shows the width and height of each size, great tool.

I'm short, so the max lift I plan on doing is a 3" upfront with 1.5" blocks in back...keeping it level.

I just installed a 2" leveling kit on the front, and I like the way it looks...but want to maybe close the gap just a bit. I'm thinking some BFG A/T in 275/65R20..anyone using these have any rubbing issues?

i just leveled my truck and ordered 20x10-24 wheels and 305/55R20 MT's. Check out Customoffsets website they have a really good search tool.

So does anyone know if a 275/75 R20 will fit without rubbing with only a 2" level kit in the front?

Are you sure on this size? It's 36.25" tall. Some are already saying a 34" tire will rub at full turn.

You should contact Rough Country directly as only the manufacturer can guarantee fitment. The forums can only offer opinions, not that I dont love these guys but one should always get that info from the manufacturer as there are literally thousands of lift/level/tire/wheel combos. I would double check your tire size before calling as stock should be 275/55/20 which is 31.9 inches. 275/70 would be a 35.16inch tire so that is definitely wrong.

For reference when changing tire size you want to do it in this order:

1) Decide what tire size you want to run ex) 35x12.5

2) Choose a lift that will allow that tire size ex) Procomp 6 inch lift

3) Finally select a wheel that is a guaranteed fitment by the manufacturer ex) 20x9.5 -6offset

- You can go outside of that fitment depending on if you are trimming or body lifting but then we are talking a custom offset and each one is unique, you would need assistance from a pro shop in that case.

4) If you get to step 2 or 3 and you find yourself outside of your budget or tastes return to step one and start over.

It sound like to me at least that the OP is doing things in the wrong order.
