There is new bed trim added to the 16's

Have y'all noticed the new little trim piece they are putting on the '16's.....in the front bottom of the bed where it meets the cab.....Looks good makes it match the rest of the edges on the bed.

 

Wonder what the part number of this is ?

 

My Dad was talking about adding it to his '15.

I ordered a set from Quirkparts.com. Here is the info from my order. Sorry I don't remember which part number is left and right sides.

 

Sorry for the formatting weirdness. I copied the table from my order confirmation email.

 

They want you to use 3m adhesion promoter before you install. I had ordered some a while back from either Amazon or ebay. It is in a foil pouch with a single use soaked foam sheet. One pouch to do both corners.

That's true, I have never had any paint chips down in that spot...I reckon I have gotten lucky over the years, plus I try and avoid any dirt/gravel roads too.

I think my Dad's truck was built in May or so and it didn't.....I don't personally remember seeing any with them when I was looking a lot back last summer....(granted I was looking at Regular Cabs and they are the last to get everything).

 

 

I got them about four weeks ago. They were easy to install and look great on my truck.
