There is another thread on here somewhere (may even be an earlier post in this same thread) where somebody put the new liners in his Sierra. He took the pieces he trimmed near the door sill logo and glued them in place under the gas pedal to cover that area as well.

Agreeing with the concerns many had, I modified my driver liner a bit. I cut out the sill plate panels, and used those remnants to make an underpedal extension. I superglued it on, and it's like it was supposed to be there. The funny thing is, at all ranges of pedal travel, the mat does not obstruct the path of the pedal. Hmmm...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At any rate, these are AWESOME floor coverings. Can't think aftermarket manufacturers have a better product.

Picked these up today and must say I am impressed with the way they look and fit. Yes, the hole under the gas pedal is still there but I have no regrets buying these. Now if we could only get a matching under seat storage for it.

Du-Ha does but I don't know how well it will line up with the curves in the GM floor liners.

 

GM storage still only comes in black but you could can buy interior vinyl trim paint at most automotive stores.

Does anyone know if the cocoa colored floor liners will match the high countrys saddle brown interior? Anyone have pics?

Dang it I wanted the GMC floor mats, but would not buy them due to the very inadequate protection of the carpet underneath and to the right side of the gas pedal, never thought to cut out around the sill plate and glue in the protection around the gas pedal like cadillacLuke did.

LOL yea give me more envy. I ended up gong with the huskies since they had the protection and they fit a lot better than my friends weather tech was the brand guard brand I think it was he put in his 2500

I have a set of the Chevy floor liners and thought they were great, wasn't overly concerned with the missing section under the gas peddle.....until.....I just pulled them out today to clean them off because they were white with salt etc, passenger side was great....drivers side carpet was soaked underneath, not cool. I can just imagine the mold and stink that will eventually happen. Not sure what to do, try to retro fit a piece to cover it up or order a set of Husky xact for the front row. Of course I don't have the receipt s ok returning is probably out of the question

I"m going to retro a piece to fit under the pedal. either from the original ones or get a piece of rubber to add
