Anyone having long term leveling effects with these trucks?

Hay, thinking of mabe trading in my ram for sierra. Tire size is terrible on the stock trucks. I need at least 33s. Thinking of just a 1.5" in the front to clear the tires. Just wondering if anyone is having ball joint issues yet? Or any other issues. Had bilstiens in my f150, i thought they were way to rough for anything but smooth pavement. Smashed around in the bush... Hoping 1.5" wont do to much damage... Thanks in advance..

I put a 2inch Rough Country kit in my 2015 Silverado 1500.

Just did the recommended alignment and everything is good.

I only have about 7000km on the truck since i have put the kit in.

Was very easy to install as i did it myself in about 2.5 hrs. Defiantly worth it as i can't stand the look of the stock trucks with the gross rake in the front.

Hope this helps!

I traded my 2014 silverado with almost 50,000 miles on the rough country 2.5" level/lift kit, absolutely no problems. I don't recommend anything higher than 2.5, can't see the angles being good with anything above 2.5.

I have a 2" level and a 275/60r20 rubs slightly at full lock. Not an issue for me. I've had it on for 40k miles with no issues

Shoot. I just put a 2" level on mine with the intention of going to a 275/60, never imagined they'd rub. Do you have the stock 20 x 9 wheels with +27 offset?

Also did anybody notice mpg loss after putting in a 2" level? It feels like I'm driving through mud now, have to give it noticeably more gas. Hopefully getting an alignment will fix that.

Stock wheels, no spacers. Get an alignment, I know the draggy feeling you're talking about

I have the Bilsteins installed with them set to give me 1.5" level which actually measures closer to 1-3/4" but I have 275-60-20 Toyo A/T2s installed on stock denali rims and the only rub I had was on the inner well lining. I tied them back and now I have no rubbing.

I have 275/70 hankooks on the stock 18s on my 2014 with no lift at all. They measure slightly taller than 33" tall. Zero rub at all.

Got it aligned today, total toe (0.33) and right front toe (0.23) were out of spec, which must have been the cause of the dragging feeling. Now that everything's back in alignment the dragging is gone.

Had a hard time with the pic but here are the numbers...

Camber: Spec -0.9 to 0.7; left front 0.1, right front -0.5

Caster: Spec 1.9 to 3.9; LF 3.0, RF 2.9

Toe: Spec -0.05 to 0.15; LF 0.09 before / 0.07 after; RF 0.23 before / 0.02 after

Total Toe: Spec -0.10 to 0.30; 0.33 before / 0.10 after

Steer Ahead (never heard of this one): Spec -0.05 to 0.05; -0.07 before / 0.03 after

Here's a pic of the (very dirty) truck right after installation...you can see the fender to wheel spacing pretty decently. Now I have room to get different wheels and tires.
