Y'all are all so funny. I think it's great that we have so many styles to choose from. There's at least one truck in every configuration on this forum that I'd be happy to have in my fleet. I've voiced my opinion on what my preferences are, but I'm glad not everyone likes what I like.

And I've yet to see one yet that resembles a minivan. [emoji1]

Another vote for glorified mini vans

I don't know whoever said a crew cab is a "glorified minivan" but that might be the stupidest thing I have read on this forum for 2017

I was leaning towards the CC Short bed but now I see the advantages of the Standard bed. The Short Bed 5-8 just was not deep enough for hauling anything substantial. I went with the CC Std bed 6-6 this time and you know I will be hauling a lot of stuff in this Ultiamte LOL. Might be my imagination running wild but to me the longer wheelbase of the standard bed versus the short bed seems to give a slight advantage in ride quality also. Pic of truck still on showroom floor.... got t love that Blue. Will try to gte some good pics this weekend. I like this one more than my old 2016 so far.....

That is what the roll bar is for brother.

Also, you didn't thumb out your license plate. J/k I never do either when I post.

It was a joke, sorry to offend...

Well if knotsure runs out of room in his crew cab he can put some passengers out at the end of the plank, and make a few fast tight turns with them.

The longer wheel base does give a better ride because it spreads out the time between when your front wheels hit bumps and when you back wheels hit 'em giving a less bumpy feel..

Always liked Double cab looks. But needed a Crew cab for practicality.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Dually Longbed.

Big fan of the crew cab short bed. Couldn't believe how much room the rear had with the seats down, or folded. I don't really haul a lot of stuff, minus mulch or the like, so a longer bed was not necessary for my needs.

Double cab with 6.6 bed gets my vote, had 3 of them & never looked back. If we need to haul more people we take the 'ol 05 Tahoe with 3rd row seating.

I think the regular cab short bed looks best, but since I got a 2500 went with a reg cab long bed. I'm 26 with a gf and dog, the regular cab works great. I haul mostly so the long bed is essential. Plus my truck looks much more unique compared to the dime a dozen extended cabs rolling around Detroit.

I come from a 2 door Wrangler so the regular cab has way more room than I need, though it doesn't turn any heads like my wrangler does. The only ladies who did my truck are straight country hahah.

I wouldn't call the crew cab a glorified minivan...I'd call it a suburban with top of the trunk chopped off. My buddy has the crew cab f150 with short box. Most of our gear goes inside the cab when we go on trips. He would have been much better off with a suburban but wanted the cool factor of a pickup.
