I have full respect for short bed owners. The indoor space is really nice. There have just been so many times I've loaded something up in my double cab standard bed, and been like "This wouldn't have fit in the short bed. So glad I have the standard!"

Literally, so many times I couldn't count them all. Large cabinets, couches, wood, ladders, even just long random junk going to the dump--if you are using your truck as a truck, it's gotta be the standard bed.

The crew cab short bed just looks funny to me. It's like a half-truck, half car hybrid that doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up. Yet, for some purposes like loading the family inside and towing a travel trailer to go camping, it's perfect.

Crew Cab short box is what looks and works best to me. I have a 5x10 utility trailer so the short box does not bother me.

Well... I voted... but IMO the best LOOKING combo isn't on your list.... the 3500 Crew Cab with dually bed, roof lights, and chrome wheels is!

My error - your right the dually should have been listed as well, by me - the OP

took about 6 months for someone to point it out

And just an opinion that is. A 3500 dually does nothing for me...

Crew cab short bed looks kinda funny, I have a standard bed double cab, would prefer a crew with standard bed but, that would not fit in the garage and I ain't payin' that much for a vehicle and letting it sit outside.

I like my double cab with a standard bed (6.5 ft).

I think the good ol fashioned standard cab, long bed looks the best. I have a CC Short, and think it looks good also, so does the Standard. I always thought i couldn't live without an 8' bed, but so far the Short has done everything I've needed to do. If i have to pickup something large, i have a 6'4 x 12' NNT utility trailer waiting in the garage.

Honestly after having this CC, i don't think i would want to go back to a standard cab again. It's really nice to be able to keep things out of the weather and have room for extra people in the cab.
