Which Cab / Bed Style Looks Best ?

I'd pick Crew Cab with Standard Bed.

Crew Cab Long bed looks the best. the 1500 CC need an 8' bed option & 6'6", do away with the 5'8" bed.

 

I'll be going 2500HD next.

I do like the CC Std bed because it looks nice and ride comfortable, but it has a really long wheelbase which makes hard to maneuver specially here in Dubai

I have RC Std bed it looks good and has good wheelbase and works perfect for me, except its not really comfortable and I understand its because of the cab configuration

I like the CC standard bed if you want a more uptown look, plus you don't see a lot of them on the road. On the other hand if you are going for a more aggressive look the CC short bed is the way to go.

I mimic what blwright said. CC/SB for 1500, CC/StB for 2500.

 

My buddy has a previous gen silverado and I was totally set on the DC until I saw the new doors. I think they are terribly ugly with the handles and they seem to lose some of the loading space because they don't open as wide.

Had to make an account just to chime in.

 

I see the practicality of the CC but I don't think they look good. A CC with the 5ft 9in box might as well be a SUV, and I like trucks not people haulers. That being said I'm young with no kids so I'm ordering a RCSB this week, three seats is more than enough and the standard bet is big enough to haul my toys.

Well the question was which looks best not what I would buy. So, voted DC standard bed. Proportions look better to me. But always buy the CC.

Dbl cab standard box for a 1/2 ton and dbl cab long box for a 3/4 hd is by the best

And yes it rides very nice, especially on the highway but it is indeed a "Limo" !!

I like the my double cab standard bed best. I always loved the 90's gmc/Chevy extended cab with standard bed best and the double cab is as close as you get to that now. The proportion looks best to me. I don't really even like the CC standard bed as that proportion looks off to me. I will admit that with child car seats (I have 2 under 2) the double cab is not the best. But that is what my wife's pilot is for.

Crew cab short bed for me. I have two little kids with child seats and it works perfectly. The 6' bed would be a bit more useful for hauling, but the longer wheelbase makes it harder to negotiate tight parking lots.

I like both really the CC with short bed and standard bed. It just really depends on the mood.

 

I own a cc with standard bed and love it and ya it is a pain to turn but then again this is my first truck so I can't really make the comparison. Lucky I live in suburbia and don't have to deal with tight spaces often.
