New 2016 Silverado Custom, upgraded from a 2015 Colorado

Howdy guys,

Just my first post here, really looking forward to being a part of y'all's community! I just purchased a 2016 Silverado Custom with the Z85 package last Friday. Long story short, I had a 2015 Colorado extended cab Z71 with the 4 cylinder (great mileage and I actually got farther than my buddy's 4x4 TJ the one time I took it "truly" off roading, with the air dam on!). However, I had the truck about 9 months and someone ran a redlight and T-boned me doing about 45 . Back when I owned the Colorado I was decently active on ColoradoFans. After buying the new Silverado (I always wanted a full size, and the price was right on the Silverado. Plus the Custom trim is exactly what I needed in terms of features. I was even able to keep some of the insurance settlement), I'd thought I'd join a good Silverado forum and this one seemed to be the most active so here I am haha.
