Opinion of Z85 Decals?

Forgive me if y'all don't like it when folks post too frequently (I'm new and already posted a thread), but I also kinda wanted to start a discussion on the whole decal thing. We all know the only ubiquitously "official" decals are the Z71 decals and badges, but I was curious what others opinion was on folks adding other decals depending on how their truck is equipped. Granted, my truck only has 299 miles on it right now so I don't want to add anything that wouldn't look factory in regards to a side decal (anyone know where I could get a good one, anyway?). How do ya'll feel about the Z85, Z88, Z66, and other trucks out there haha? Since my truck has the G80 and trailering equipment, while the Z71, on years where you could get a 4x2, sometimes only meant the G80 and modified suspension (maybe Z85 suspension is also different from a bone stock truck?), I feel it is just as "legit" a package...let the debates begin!

Badges are there for only one thing, to make you feel like you added an inch to your pecker. Not really helpful for anything else.

I think any non-standard ones are a bit pointless. Any truck enthusiast knows what Z71 is/means (even if it has been watered down over the years). If you stick a Z85 sticker on the side, you'll probably have a lot of people wondering what that is. In the end, it's your truck though.

I am taking a picture of the 4 x 4 decal on the bed side of the truck to the flea market where there is a guy that makes signs/decals.  I am taking the picture with a tape measure longways and then its height so he can make a Z 85 sign the same way with the borders on silver and black on red.  It is 10 bucks a piece.  Planning to make two for under the 4 x 4 bed side decal, a smaller one in silver only for underneath or next to the LT emblem on the tailgate and two small ones for the edge of the hood by its end at the windshield.  They can be done, the smaller ones probably will be 5 bucks a piece.  Try that with any shop that deals in custom decals.

If you make some folks think twice and wonder what Z85 is AND you get an extra inch on your pecker, what the heck are you waiting for?

I did a quick google search...It looks like you should find something on ebay.

Definitely badge or debadge your truck as you please.  99+% of the public won't know what the difference is between a Z85 and Z71 but the few that share your interest will appreciate the decals.  I placed a small V6 badge on my tailgate which doesn't mean much to the average motorist.  However, it has attracted very positive attention from other GM truck enthusiasts!

Here is a qustion just for fun. What do you like, the z71 stickers on the silverado or the z71 emblem on the front fenders on the Sierra's?
