so I searched around and saw that some of you have bought an ebay tool to relearn your tpms sensors... however, none of the links to said tools worked.

I have a fleet of silverados from 2007-2015's... id like to purchase a tool that would work on all of these vehicles. Anyone have experience with a cheaper ebay tool? id rather not spend 700+ for a factory one.

Go find a local tire shop, usually they can reset it quick, probably free. I had to get mine reset after costco changed over my winters to summer and swapped the rims.

do you have experience with this one and it works on our 14+ trucks?

I have 10+ trucks, I need to be able to reset them myself.

I got mine from Amazon and it has worked on 4 trucks from 2007 to my current 2015.

Bought one on closeout at Tirerack a few years back. Takes a while with each tire.

I find it simpler and faster just letting air out in relean mode.

As it pertains to the VT 15, here is what it says:

Designed for domestic cars that have a "learn mode": most GM, Chrysler and Ford.

Easy-to-use right out of the box, the tool is excellent for drivers who have two sets of tires and wheels for their vehicle (especially vehicles with track packages or winter packages) and need to register their TPMS sensors when changing from one package to the other.

Simply position the tool close to the sensor and against the tire side then press the applicable button.

Compatible with all current TPMS sensors, the left button triggers all known sensors Schrader, Siemens, Lite-on, Beru, TRW, Pacific, Lear...

The Right button stopped the triggering once your car has acknowledged the sensor.

Refer to the vehicle's owner's manual for detailed information on a vehicle's tire pressure monitoring system. One yellow LED light is illuminated while the tool is transmitting. A second LED light will illuminate when the tool’s battery is low.

Compared to the TPMS VT10, the TPMS VT15 tool can be updated using the USB port when new sensors will become available.

ATEQ VT15 Specs:
Power Supply: 9V Duracell battery (included) Weight: 5.1 ounces (with battery) Size: 6" tall (including antenna) x 1.8" wide x 1.2" deep

=========================

Bottom line is it worked fine for my Sierra.
