2016 SLT lights in 14/15 SLT/All Terrain almost done

Got my harnesses from Van, (thanx!) and I have one 2016 headlight so far, just waiting for a good deal on the other.

Has anybody baked or cut these headlights open and painted the chrome inside or otherwise modified? I know there are some posts about the older style headlights, I'm wondering if anyone has done it to these ones.

I'm thinking of painting the inside gloss black and removing the reflector on the side. Would baking these ones ruin them because they are LED or something like that?

I have two sets done, complete retrofits on 2016 SLE lights. As far as I know, I have the only diode dynamics c-led switchbacks. I have had them since last September but I don't think they will be released until April.

 

I have a set of stock 16 SLE lights with 1 broken tab for $1000 shipped OBO. Tab can be safety wired.

Well, 8 guys gives us 10% off $200. Not that big of a deal. If I can get 15 guys, it would be 15% off, 20 guys, 20% off. I just installed 2016 LED headlights into my 2014 sierra alt and used zmnypit harness but I have a issue on driver side turn signal. If it's just the led drl on no parking lights or headlights the drl on driver side flickers when left turn signal is on. If I turn on headlights or parking lights no more flicker from the drl. The passenger side drl doesn't flicker at all.
